Professional Garden Maintenance in Ealing

Ealing has long been known for its wide streets and generous gardens, particularly around the Edwardian houses near Ealing Common and the leafier roads towards Gunnersbury. Bigger plots mean more to keep on top of, and more room for a garden to get away from you if it’s left too long between visits.

We’ve been designing, building and maintaining gardens across London since 1995, and a number of the gardens we look after today are ones we originally planted and built. Our design work has earned APL and SGD recognition, and our maintenance teams are LANTRA trained, so the standard doesn’t drop once the initial build is completed.

For a larger Ealing garden, we can book in a one-off visit to bring things back under control, or set up a regular garden maintenance schedule that keeps pace with how quickly a bigger space grows. That covers the lawn, hedges and borders, seasonal planting, and clearing anything that’s built up.

Why Ealing Households Choose & Trust Us

Three decades of maintaining gardens of all sizes has taught us where the real work goes: not just cutting things back, but keeping a garden’s structure and health intact as it matures year on year.

We use sustainable methods wherever the garden allows, rather than relying on anything that wears the soil down over time. Our teams also stay consistent, so the same gardeners come to know both you and your garden, and how it behaves through the seasons.

For a typical Ealing garden, our regular work covers:

  • Lawn Care: Regular mowing, edging, and treatments for a perfect lawn.
  • Hedge Trimming: Precise pruning for clean and healthy hedges.
  • Weeding and Plant Care: Keeping flower beds free of weeds and plants thriving.
  • Seasonal Planting: Refreshing your garden with new blooms every season.
  • Leaf Clearance: Removing autumn leaves to prevent lawn damage.

Seasonal Garden Maintenance

A bigger garden feels every season more sharply, and smaller gardens take less time to feel out of control – and we can plan for both and everything in between. Spring is for planting and an early prune to set the year’s growth off well. Summer means staying on top of watering and mowing through the warmer months. Autumn is about clearing leaves and preparing the soil before winter arrives, and through winter we focus on frost protection and holding the garden’s shape until spring.

We work around what the garden actually needs as the weather shifts, rather than a fixed round of visits.

  • Spring: Fresh planting and pruning to encourage growth.
  • Summer: Lawn care and watering to withstand the heat.
  • Autumn: Leaf clearance and soil care for winter preparation.
  • Winter: Protecting plants from frost and maintaining structure.

I cannot recommend Town and Country Gardens, based in Chiswick, highly enough. My garden had become really overgrown as I haven’t been well for a while and simply hadn’t been able to keep on top of it.
They have done an absolutely fantastic job. They were incredibly thorough and meticulous, arrived exactly when they said they would, and were professional from start to finish. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they left everything beautifully clean and tidy afterwards.
The difference they’ve made to my garden is amazing. I’m absolutely delighted with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish — thank you so much!

Fabulous! Knowledgable, good communication, prompt and helpful. We have absolutely no experience with gardens and we found Andrew very helpful and calming. On the day the guys were really efficient and we couldn’t be happier with the result, and can’t wait to see it all grow 😍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were thoroughly impressed with the service from Town and Country Garden. Catalin and Ausrine recently carried out their first visit and were exceptional in every way.

They were calm, respectful, and showed real understanding when working around someone living with dementia. Their kind and thoughtful manner stood out immediately, creating a sense of trust and ease from the start. They quickly established a great rapport, and their attention to detail in the garden was outstanding. The space has been completely revitalised—it now feels welcoming, well cared for, and full of life. It’s clear they take real pride in their work.

We’re extremely pleased with the results. A genuinely positive experience, and we hope they’ll continue as our regular gardeners. Highly recommended.
